Advantages Of CFDs

We have so far pointed out some of the risks involved in trading CFDs, NOW I would like to draw your attention to some of the the benefits CFDs can offer to investors:

  1. Low or No Commission for your Trades

With CFDs there are no commissions to pay with some brokers and others may only have a small charge.

  2. No Need To Pay Stamp Duty

Unlike traditional share trading CFDs are exempt from stamp duty on UK-listed Stocks.

  3. You can trade the Global Markets

Using a single account CFDs allow you to trade on a whole range of global instruments i.e. Trade on Shares, Indices, Commodities, Sectors and Treasuries 24 hours a day.

  4. Going Short

With trading CFDs you can benefit when the market falls by Going Short.

  5. Margin Trading

You do not have to fully fund the value of your investment as CFDs are a Leveraged Product.

Hi,

Sorry for getting back to you a bit later than I would have liked.

The answer to your question is "yes" but most brokers would charge you for it - you will have to talk to them to find out about their rates.

Regards,

Rod

I have asked myself the same question. I know of one broker (Plus500) who has a guaranteed stop loss with no extra cost. Do you know if there are others who have that also?
