MT5 brokers now can connect to NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE via Interactive Brokers Gateway

MetaQuotes announced today a partnership with oneZero for the purpose of launching new connectivity gateway for MT5 integration with Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NYSE:IBKR). The solution will enable access to stocks, futures and other exchange traded instruments on the largest global exchanges, which are included in the leading U.S. broker’s products portfolio.

The new gateway, made available through the oneZero Hub product, will in fact enable MT5 brokers to gain access to 15 out of 20 Biggest Exchanges, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX), the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ) and others.

In addition to securities and futures, the connectivity gateway will also allow trading in forex, CFDs, and precious metals. The full list of the offering that is being enabled via the solution is available on the website of Interactive Brokers.

What is more, the solution will also enable connected companies to perform some corporate bulk actions on MT5 automatically – for example, to accrue dividends from selected securities for all traders who have open positions on that security.

The main advantage of the solution, resulting from this partnership is that connected brokers will be able to deliver access to multiple exchanges via a single connection.

Commenting on the matter, Andrew Ralich, CEO of oneZero, said: “We have been working hand-in-hand with MetaQuotes and Interactive Brokers to support the recent surge in demand for MetaTrader 5 Gateway connectivity, leveraging our Hub solution and existing technology platform.” He also added that “The addition of Interactive Brokers is an excellent complement to the institutional features, such as Depth of Market, available in the MetaTrader 5 Platform”.

Founded in 2009, oneZero Financial Systems develops institutional software solutions for the foreign exchange, commodities, and futures markets. Its Hub technology infrastructure enables financial services companies to monitor revenues, trading activity and risk exposures across asset classes and platforms from a single, consolidated view.

The addition of Interactive Brokers is yet another enhancement to the institutional features, which are now available in the MetaTrader 5 Platform.

Earlier in July, the platform was equipped with a new tool for analyzing exchange markets. Ultimately, after MetaQuites added the hedging feature to it, MT5 gained popularity both among brokers and traders.
